Clay's Park Triathlon Kickoff, May 28, 2016
Swim: 500 meters
The 500 meter swim course is a counter-clockwise (buoys on left), 1 lap swim in a beautiful, beginner-friendly open-water lake. Water depth is 4-6 feet around the buoys and within feet of "touching" all the way around.
Bike: 15 Miles
2 loop course of about 7.5 miles .
Run: 3.1 Miles
The run course is a peaceful 2 X 1.55 mile, mostly flat, lapped course that takes athletes through the campgrounds of the park. You WILL BE heckled by campers that have yet to go to sleep from a rowdy Saturday night at the campground! We are not responsible for any funky smells emitting from the campground area.

The Triathlon (& Du) @ Munroe Falls Metroparks, June 26, 2016
Swim: 400 yards / Run 1.5 miles (duathlon)
The swim course takes place in a small recreational swim lake all within 4-6 feet of water and is one of the safer swim venues in the area. The athletes will follow a 200 yard lane line heading outbound, and then turn around a buoy and head back to the TA. The swim lane/buoys will be on the athletes right side.
Bike Course: 10.5 miles
The new 2015 10.5 mile course is a 1 lap course in hopes to alleviate some congestion on this popular bike course. The course will exit the MAINTENANCE Drive (NOT the main gate drive) and head right (or East) on S. River Road to head out to the course. Bikers will roll along some flat fast sections and some gentle rollers before returning back to the park via S. River Road and back into the park MAINTENANCE Drive. (NOT the main gate drive). UPON ENTERING THE PARK ON THE MAINTENANCE DRIVE, ATHLETES WILL THEN TAKE A RIGHT ONTO THE PARK ROADS HEADING BACK TO TA. In the past, riders coming back into the park on the maintenance road would take a LEFT onto the park road, but this year the riders will take a RIGHT upon re-enterting the park from the mainenance drive.
PLEASE TAKE CAUTION in the 1st mile and the 10th mile while riding in the park as the park roads are technical and winding.
Run Course: 3 miles
The run course is 2 laps x 1.5 miles and is contained completely within the park grounds. A great spectator course as athletes will run the peaceful park grounds that are closed to traffic. The route will run clockwise around the lake.

Bike Course: 16 miles/24 miles
The MiltonMan bike is noted for being smooth and fast! The course is a "lasso"-style route in which the participants will ride .6 miles on the park drive to the "main loop". Once on the main loop, the sprinters will do 2 laps of the loop and the olympians will do 3 laps of the loop. The loop is clockwise direction making mostly right-hand turns. DO NOT pull back into the park drive until ALL laps are completed.
Run Course: 3 miles/6 miles
The run course is an out-n-back run course that takes runners over the Mahoning Ave bridge using the park path adjacent to the road. The course is flat with the exception of a small hill approx. the 2.4 miles mark. 1 lap for the sprint and 2 laps for the olympic.
